Re: What's for Dinner Tonight?

We're all on a 30 day fast at the Jackson church, so our dinners will be very limited. Ha! Everyone is fasting whatever they feel like the Lord is leading them to do.

Re: What's for Dinner Tonight?

I've been hungry for a good home cooked meal, so I decided to cook one!

I simmered beef round eye of round steak in it's own gravy, mashed potatoes and English peas. It was really good!!

I didn't get to cook the other night, so last night I made homemade chicken potpie, green beans, new potatoes, dinner rolls, and chocolate chip cookies.

I think I will fix a roast and potatoes tonight.

I have chicken breasts thawing, which I am going to marinate in garlic and herb dressing, then grill, and maybe barbque...think I'll put polish sausage on the grill as well.

Going to make a little red skinned potato salad...maybe slice some tomatoes...oops...I need to get to the Farmer's Market...
