Music Repertoire

I'm trying to build up a repertoire of ensemble music for different areas of service...for instance:

Altar -

Stay In the Race
Come Holy Spirit (Oh How We Need You)
[Lord] Make Me Over

Prayer -
He Will Carry You

Beginning of Service -
The Presence of the Lord Is Here
Come Into This House (Magnify the Lord)

Praise & Worship
Blessed Be Your Name
This Is How We Overcome
I Can't Thank Him Enough

etc.

(beyond your basic hymns or choruses)

What songs do you use most often? What are some of your favorites?

To see no possession but you may possess it—enjoying all without labor or purchase—
abstracting the feast, yet not abstracting one particle of it;…."

I organized hundred of choruses several years back when I was carrying the responsibility for music in our church.

I had them organized (1) alphabetically and (2) by topic as you showed above.

I have them all on my computer. I'd send them to you if you like. The only thing is, I don't have a lot of the newer more popular songs because this was done back in the 90s.

I haven't been involved in music now for a few years and really out of step with what's happening musically in a lot of our churches.

That'd be nice to have.

Re: Music Repertoire

I have the lyrics to tons of choruses and songs in my computer. I am also working on a topical index list of choruses and have one started. I would be glad to share with you what I have. A lot of mine are older as well but still work.

That'd be great. I keep a separate lyric sheet for the ensemble.
