I can only imagine the pressure on this girl to dress, act a certain way...

I don't know where she is in her walk with God but I PRAY TO GOD this girl doesn't ever read an Apostolic forum. We have a little 14, 15 year old girl who's testimony has been attacked, she's been called all sorts of names...it's really sad....

you have taken that I've attacked, that is supposition on your part.
You honestly don't think that when they returned home that they didn't find the pictures themselves. anyone can google it,

The youth in every church whatever situation they are currently in is alot of pressure, do we expect them to bow?

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendigo was under ALOT of pressure.
So if you think we should never object why are you objecting?

I'm objecting to your personal attack on a little girl.
I don't think most of the youth found the pictures. Not everyone was out 'to prove' she is this or that.
What was your objective in googling her pictures?
Do you google everyone's name to see if you can find something bad about them?

Melody, enough of this, girl...who was it that compared this young lady to BS yesterday?!

So please calm down and listen up...you have tried to malign this girl and it is not supposition on our part.

Melody, I think we are just appalled that you found a picture of a sweet, God used, Holy Ghost filled, Jesus name baptized, one God believing girl, that showed a little more of her arms than you think is appropriate and you then tried to link her to Brittney Spears... You may have apologized but then in this post you somehow link her to worshipping a false God...

After apologizing you still try and prove your point... You will never prove your point on here because you are very wrong... The more you talk on this subject, the less response you are going to get because you keep diggin and sounding like the type of judgmental UPCer that has given it a bad name to a lot of people... Even most UPCers are trying to distance themselves from that attitude...

My pastor asked me to do search, I just typed the name dora the explorere voice, the images came up, so then he asked me to see when she got in church, and when these were taken.

Brother,

I was a member of the General Youth Divisionuntil this past May when I aged out.

As such, I have been very reticent to speak of the issue that is now being discussed.

But the pictures that surfaced showed considerably more than just some upper arms.

I think it is a travesty that this young lady, whom none of us posting probably know personally, became the subject of debate on an internet forum.

This, however, would never have been the case had the powers that be done a little more homework.

As cool as some might think it is that this young lady is in the Hollywood industry, most of us in the grassroots really don't want that lifestyle and direction portrayed as the example we want our kids pursuing.

I choose to trust in God's grace and her pastor's wisdom, as well as the process of time and maturity and the working of the Holy Ghost to lead this young lady in days to come. She has no doubt been subject to pressures and influences that we would have a hard time fathoming. Hopefully things will work out for her.

Having said that, given the controversial and very public nature of her lifestyle, she might not have been the best choice for a youth congress testimony.

Supposition again,
I am stating that you can, and many many young people DO stand in the face of unbelievable pressure and she can too, I don't expect any more of her than I would any other youth that has been in the church for years

Why is attacking this little girl your crusade? Truth is, you don't know when she got in church, you don't know her Pastor's standards of dress...you DON"T know if Nickolodean tells her what she has to wear to these shows, if she's under contract, ect ect......

WHAT was the purpose of your Pastor asking you to do the search?
Sounds to me like people were looking to discredit her testimony...

Do not say you haven't said anything about her walk with God, YOU COMPARED HER TO Brittney!
This girl has the Holy Ghost....the same one you say you have.
