Sussex averaging 100???? Ummmm, not so sure that would be correct...

I thought the split in Sussex was fairly even, about 150 in each direction. I would have guessed that Abundant Life was closer to 150 than 100. I know that Calvary is doing well and seeing growth and Holy Ghost baptisms.

Ummmm.... i need to be careful here... but I really do not think Abundant Life is running anywhere close to 150.... it would honestly surprise me if they were hitting the 100 mark... I do not know this for sure but it would surprise me...

I had forgotten about that vote. Probably best that it went that way.
I had a family member tell me that there was a move from Abundant Life to
Calvary. Shouldn't that be from Calvary to Abundant Life?
So, what would be the ballpark on Abundant Life?

I have been blessed to know many great men of God, men of whom this world was not worthy. My pastor, Lloyd Williams, RA Beesley, AW Post, CB Dudley, MF Urquhart, HD McNair, George Shalm, Jimmy Burns, and many, many others. Our Pentecostal heritage in NB is rich and deep.
Along with them I could list an even longer list of laymen and women that I have known who have shown me what it means to be a Christian. It's a season to celebrate blessing and my life has been richly blessed by God and His people.

Wow, I knew all those men...
I would add to the list John Mean... who has taught me so much by example!

The move from one church to the other probably seesaws back and forth as circumstances change in each church. There has always been and will always be what Jeff Arnold calls "gypsy's for Jesus" I guess.
I am only guessing on a ballpark for abundant Life but I would say 75-85... but someone on here probably knows the real figures....

Those of us who never had a chance to get to know some of those ... missed out. I do know Bro. McNair & Bro. Urquhart though.. There are still great people in NB.. men and women that if some of us in my generation could be half the people they were and/or are.. we'd be set.

Good question.
If you're in a service, and if, when the service reaches a Pentecostal frenzy, the Pastor shouts, "Give your neighbour a 'High Four!'" You're probably in a mill town.

So true!!!!
God help those of my generation to pick up the torch and hold it high.
I seem to be caught in between two generations...
