We had a "blow-out" last night, we could only get through 2 songs and we had to have pastor come right then and preach up a storm. He had been in Scotland for 2 weeks so it was great having him back.
He preached for about 20 minutes and then we had a powerful altar service that lasted a loong time. Picture this, our altar service was led by children. 3 young men ages 8-13? stood on three corners of our platform and prayed /interceded over our church, and boy, I mean PRAY! They did this for at least an hour!!! Many in NB would recognize their family names, they have grandparents who have prayed/worked/led this small province for Jesus Name.
Then, 3 young men from the youth group, prayed over these 3 boys. Finally, 3 senior men/preachers prayed over that group and there was a generational unity that swept over our congregation, it was one of the most powerful moves I have ever been in. I don't have all of the final results (I was wiped out) but I do know great things happened. All of this occured without any music so the musicians were able to partake as well!
To a person, we can't wait until we can meet again and share what God is doing through us all during the week!
