I don't believe preachers and pastors ought to be bashed. in fact, i believe they should be held in high esteem. but when they abuse people in this manner , they don't deserve the respect rendered to a TRUE man of God.

Did you read sis Beezer's account ???

Living what you preach is a new concept to some...sadly! He did in some ways, but in many more NOT...as this thread has progressed, so many little things have come to my mind....does not make me happy to recall them!

SisBeezer, May the face of God shine on you today! Your story has troubled me so. Hopefully you are realizing that your situation was rare, and the norm is much different.

Surely we should respect Godly leadership that cares about the well-being of the Body Of Christ.
But there are those in leadership who overlord themselves over God's heritage which is agains't the Bible.
Ministers are not infallible, we should not subject ourselves to those who abuse their callings.
Spiritual authority calls for responsible leadership.

As Christians we should respect one another, but its dishonest to pretend that God doesn't or didn't expect us to show special respect to and for prophets, priests, ministers. By the way, that particular word "anointed" means: "a consecrated person, as a king, priest or saint, specifically the Messiah."

Secondly, there IS some preacher bashing that goes on here. Some do it, some don't. It doesn't help anyone to pretend that doesn't happen. Two wrongs don't make a right.
In what way do you see bashing...if truth is spoken...its information, its truth, and can not be bashing...if it were for the sake of making a pastor look bad and nothing else then it would be bashing....
