OK,I thought that's what you were referring to. I don't think my pastor back then ever blasted television.

I don't mind saying that I had become part of the "UPC fringe," still in but not active. I know of many like me who are getting out and becoming independent. If this Tulsa meeting continues as it appears, there are men leaving the UPC that I never dreamed would consider it.
My leaving is not an indicator that the UPC will suffer the loss of great numbers. Even Larry Booker's leaving wouldn't indicate that. But some of the men I am hearing about is a horse of a different color.
By the way, all the men I am hearing about pastor substantial size churches as far as the UPC is concerned.
I definitely think the impact will be felt...though I take no pleasure in any of it.

In the 1970's.I decided to cover my early appearance of gray hair, to the shock of my pastor,we immediately had sermons against hair dye,I got the message and have allowed nature to color my hair for many years.

Hi Mother D...how are things?! Trust all is well way over yonder...
My momma was just saying this morning that she'd like to head on over to your neck of the woods next summer...we shall see.
