Your point is well taken. I think that one benefit of the larger number of our youth advancing their education will be a general upward trend in the level of dialogue on a variety of issues.

The big problem with this is that with the "nobuddy fails" policy that got Maple Leaf through the institution this subject would require an IQ above a turnip.

Not necessarily - these issues can be discussed in everyday terminology if the person teaching the class has experience and knowledge in the area.

I'll be back later about the rest of the questions

But...what about those that don't desire any level of dialog on certain issues?

Just keep quiet and do what I tell you to do!

Was there not a certain teacher last year at NCC who had the students stirred over some very touchy subjects while trying to get them to be apologetic??

The Church will either enter into dialogue with these educated young people, or it will dwindle into irrelevance preaching to grey heads and McDonalds uniforms.

Enlightened??

Enlightened - "freed from ignorance and misinformation."

Now there is a wide open subject that could take years and years to accomplish.

I will agree that we are preaching to a more "educated" audience all the time.

Just for example I am privileged to minister weekly to an RN with 4 years of university behind her and a Pharmacist with 4 years of university behind her and a young man in his second year of a medical course and am happy to say that they are without doubt among my biggest supporters when it comes to ministering the Word!

What I have found is if you can feed them you can lead them...
