The Source of Most Church Problems
The worst problems in the church I pastor can be traced to a perversion of the original roles God intended men, women, and children to play.
Families, and the church, struggle when men are lazy and refuse to support the family unit they helped create. We suffer when women attempt to usurp spiritual leadership and authority. We suffer when children dictate the direction and mood of the home.
It grieves me to see the family unit under attack by well-meaning individuals within the church. These folks have fallen for a perverted worldview that despises masculine leadership and pastoral authority.
In the overwhelming majority of motion picture and television content, Hollywood, with the full force of it's bully-puplit, assaults the nuclear family unit. An agenda is quite obvious. The agenda is to promote "individualism" in the hopes of separating families from each other.
This is why sitcoms usually portray men as bumbling boobs who are incapable of rational thought. This is why women are normally shown as intellectually superior. This is why parents often defer to the greater wisdom of nine year old children in most Disney programming.
Make no mistake about it, the nuclear family is an endangered species. All because love has no strings attached, parents are friends instead of teachers, and the only men worthy of respect are limp-wristed, effeminate metrosexuals.

Brother, while we have disagreed on some issues in the past, I think you have succinctly stated why I personally do not want tv in my home or condoned by the UPCI.
Well said!!!

Hmmmm... maybe they had shadow puppet shows with an agenda? We're always hearing "There's nothing new under the Sun" from certain folks... except when it comes to television... then it is the new Pandora's box and Satan's biggest "new" weapon...

The church is filled w/ problems because women and children won't submit to man? How about all of us submitting to the Almighty... think that would work?
C'mon ... individualism has been a problem since Eden

Men too.
And it isn't all about submission, it is about fulfilling their roles.

Submission is the root of the problem. Laziness plays a part as well.
Daniel, perhaps you missed my point? My point is that there is an absolutely diabolical perversion involved in these role reversals that leads to mass societal confusion.
I am not blaming a particular gender. I am stating that satan has an agenda. He wants to destroy the family and will play to our egotistical desire for independence, gratification, and power to do so.
We cannot properly submit ourselves to the Almighty without following His original plan for mankind which involves the man as the leader of the home, the woman as his submitted partner, and their children as students of their relationship with each other and God.
