DA, The fact is TV appearances by those in the UPC will not make organizational headlines at this time - IT'S CONTROVERSIAL. It is not a secret. There is no conspiricy here. People disagree about it strongly so there can be no official endorsement - I understand it completely. There is no need to impune the organization over it.

Yeah, them high behind huggin skirts seems to be the order of the day for the youth.

Not just appalled either...they have virtually sent her to hell calling her a sinner.

An organizational youth rally of more than 17,000 people seems like an official endorsement to me....

Who is impugning the org over this ... Clearly decisions were made by certain individuals to parade this young lady now ... she's a headline now ... Why? -- is a valid question, methinks.

... Who made that choice .... not the fellowship ... but TG and his gang of merry men.

Why now? They had to know it would create a stir in this present climate.

Personally she would be more modest in pants.

  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

For an org that has taught modesty, yes it will be appalling to some.

This was by far the most "out there" style of NAYC that there has been...ever. The band pit, the acoustic worship set, the guitars, lack of Armani suits on preachers...everything was different, including interviews. They polished up the event, this was just another part IMO.

Monkey ... you know that when this idea about Dora was brought at the brainstorming session they had to weigh it in light of the present climate.
