This is an interesting topic, but it is probably too hot to handle around here. Several of the independent churches, and some UPC, in New Brunswick have changed to generic names - I don't know if it has any value in attracting people who are turned off by the term "Pentecostal" or not. Perhaps somebody with more insight than I will comment on the topic.
I personally like the name Family Worship Centre, but it's already overworked in New Brunswick. We've got one liberal FWC, one conservative UPC FWC, and one ultra conservative FWC.
