Hey what about me?
I can testify that Maple Leaf was at Summer Summit, and that he must of went early. He had a back row seat. What's going on? Is Maple Leaf ready to repent and return home?

Back to the original start to this thread, I think I have the whole story now on the UPCoC.
There was a letter and a survey sent out to the entire Canadian ministerial constituency. That letter and survey was signed by three different men from different parts of the country but it was unquestionably the brainchild and project of a certain well known former Canadian presbyter who resides on the west coast. The other two names associated with it are basically just window dressing, PVR was the driving force behind it.
My details on the survey are a little sketchy so some of you who have been a little quiet on this one (3E and DJ come to mind) could help out here a little. As I understand it the survey was about evangelism but within it was a question or series of questions that asked about Canada going it alone. Those who got the survey could post those questions for us for clarity sake.
Anyways, this idea went over like a ham sandwich at Jewish wedding or to keep my analogies Canadian like a Maple leaf jersey at the Bell centre. The author was hauled in front of the Canadian district superintendants at Canada conference, rebuked and told he was out of order and causing dissention, yada yada yada. They slapped him on the wrist and sent him packing, end of story. No independent Canada. You won't be sending your annual dues to 321 Carnarvan St. Hazelwood still has a death grip on Flin Flon and all other parts north of the 49th parallel.
Now my source, who is very close to the family, tells me that PVR has taken this very very badly. It really hurt him and he is astounded at the response and reaction this has generated and feels betrayed by his Canadian bretheren.
If anyone has any more info, step up to the plate but I'm pretty confident that my story is pretty close the way it actually played out.

Bravo Thumper!
How does this compare to what Thad had posted in the deleted thread?
Perhaps it is time for PVR to explore his options. The office of Moderator in the ACOP must be coming up for election soon.

I followed the admonition of Jesus and took the least seat. It's better to do that than to go direct to the platform, and be asked to go sit with the congregation.
Did I repent for going to Summer Summit? "No." As a matter of fact, I quite enjoyed myself and might take in another service.
Did I return home? "Yes."

So is there an average attendance or below average attendance? Curious minds want to know!

I had my survey all ready to send in but it only got as far as my garbage can!
Like the TV resolution this notion of a Canada Only Org is going to take awhile!

The deleted thread told of how Hazelwood was alarmed at a seperate Canada. Sources told of two departments running around like Chicken Little. The thread was deleted due to hijacking and bad attitudes and eventually led to two being banned.
Thad has removed himself from our company, so perhaps this new discussion may bring him back.
