If you knew me, you would know that I'm all about good food. Life is too short to eat MaacDonalds, he! (Got that from Murrell Ewing)
I haven't cooked indoors for about 3 weeks now. You have to take advantage of good weather here in Canada, eh!

Know what you mean, Monk...
I don't believe the Almighty intends for me to be a 'Miss Piggy', but on the other hand, the rapture is at hand and I don't really want my last meal on this side of glory to be peaches and cottage cheese!!
So I say eat well yet sensible...

Glad he got in so quick because from what I've seen (not from personal experience of course), they are packed out...

LOL
No, he was at the right place at the right time but he was told it was very unusual not to have to wait at least an hour.

We had our monthly ladies' meeting tonight and it's potluck. I made a pasta dish, but there was so much food, it barely got touched. So I have a ton of leftover pasta for the boys to chow down on for lunches this week. Anything they don't have to pay for, they love!!

Was the ladies meeting good tonight? It sounded fun, but I had to work until 6:00. Mom has to go back to the surgeon tomorrow so I worked late tonight to make up for time off. This is draining me.......

It was good and we had a great crowd. We honored Elizabeth Taylor, so her two sons and daughter and husband all came with flowers and they all spoke. Then in the sanctuary, Diane preached and we had an altar call. I got to pray with a precious woman who's been coming to church but I didn't really know her at all. We talked for a long time afterwards.
Sista Truesdale and the Jackson Church Lady also made an appearance in the skit. They were nuts! Sista T. came to honor Elizabeth Taylor, but it was the Hollywood one instead, so it was hilarious.

Gina Weaver and I think they need to meet Natashay. Remember her? I think they would get along famously!!

I heard of the Georgian "Watermelon Crawl". But never the "California Roll"
