Urgent Prayer Request
Gayla, a lady in my church has been battling this virus and has been in the hospital for 3 weeks now. She was put on a ventilator a few days ago and the Dr today said her lungs are too hardened and there is nothing more that can be done.
Please pray for Gayla and also for her husband, Billy. They have a young boy and girl, age 16 and 12.
We believe God can work a miracle. In Jesus Name.

Re: Urgent Prayer Request
I received a text this afternoon. Gayla passed away last night.
Pray for her husband, Billy, and the two children.
Death is not final. Thankful for the hope we have in Jesus.

Sorry to hear this. My wife talked to her in the last ladies retreat, and was very happy to see her. My wife's family knows them.

So sad. May God comfort this family.
It seems this often happens to those put on respirators.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
