So other than gluttony is it by the law that the knowledge of sin comes?

Re: Divorce and remarriage
Rom 7:7 - What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet
So does the law make us aware of sin or not?

This is verse 6, so it is prior to verse seven, and entirely relevant.
6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
So tell me Brother. How much of the law do you think we are under. You are sounding pretty legalistic. It’s funny how Paul is speaking in the past tense but you didn’t seem to notice. Are you sacrificing animals?

Does this mean you can’t find a law against gluttony?

Does this mean , that you admit the law brings the knowledge of sin?

Why don’t you just say it, yes or no. Does fornication consummate marriage?

It actually said, “ Whosoever MARRIES her that hath been put away. What do you call people who get married?
Or do you only call two people husband and wife if they commit fornication?

What this really means is that you are repeating what you’ve been told, and you’re not studying the Bible for yourself.

I understand if it’s uncomfortable for you to talk about it.
