Why is that so hard to understand?
Seguidordejesus, you responded to this post that I quoted and disagreed with the reasoning, and said accused another similar post of false dichotomy. Please explain your reasoning with more than these responses to hometown guy's posts in which you do not present your logic.

This is incorrect:
Proverbs 29:2 KJV
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
Proverbs 29:4 KJV
The king by judgment establisheth the land: but he that receiveth gifts overthroweth it.
Proverbs 29:12 KJV
If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.
2 Samuel 23:3 KJV
The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.
A leader's spiritual character bears DIRECTLY on his leadership. The idea that a ruler's spirituality can be separated from his job is no different than the idea that a husband's spirituality can be separated from his familial responsibilities, or that in any situation God can be put in a compartment separated from the other areas of one's life. As Christians we are to promote righteousness in all areas, public and private. All men everywhere are commanded by God to repent, including Presidents and prime ministers and kings.
Your moral and spiritual character WILL affect your choices, all of them, including any policies you put into effect. This is why it USED to be unlawful in the United States for atheists, papists, etc to serve in public office. The notion that a leader can be anything spiritually but still a grand leader is what has gotten us in the current mess to begin with. Christians quit expecting righteous men to be in power, so we get unrighteous men in power.

I agree. However, to see one president allow churches to escape fines for refusing to bake gays for sodomite weddings and another do the opposite, it becomes a choice of which is the worst. There is no room to be able to determine which administration is better?

Light, go back in the hole from whence you crawled out.
It's sad how the liberal media you consume has poisoned your mind.
Turn off MSNBC and CNN, read your Bible and pray a bit.

Can you say more than a quip, with some reasoning behind your words?
Would you rather have OBAMA tell you that a man can go into the restroom with your wife rather than Trump repeal that nonsense? Trump is no angel for sure, but he's a lot better than that former guy you guys had with all the ultra-liberal perversion being promoted and forced on your country, if one had to choose.
What are some of your thoughts, everyone? Do you not vote for anyone, when there is a choice that at least one party will give more liberty to the church despite personal lifestyles that are ungodly, when up against another who may be more refined but pushes perversion like there's no tomorrow?

If we had to go for a president with true Christian values in their personal life we would never be able to vote for anyone. I guess they would rather have a baby killer like Clinton in office.

What I am saying is a candidate for office ought to be scrutinized by Christians as to their moral and spiritual values and whether or not they fear God. Since he that rules must do so in the fear of God, it behoves us to pray for GODLY leaders, and to support them where possible, and to NOT follow a multitude to do evil - even if it's the "lesser of two evils".
In any event, regardless who is in power, the church has its own agenda.
