Pray for a speedy recovery. She sailed through the chemo process with flying colors and I am trusting God that the surgery will be that easy or easier.
ALSO, please pray for me. I am going to be in a hard situation. I have a sister who is awful. She is bi-polar, she is full of the devil, and she is just plain mean. I cannot stand to be in the same room with her. I do not like the way I act when I am around her, because she gets under my skin in a New York second. I just got off the phone with my daughter and she said that my sister and brother-in-law are at my mother's house cutting up right now. My mom does not need to have to deal with this. I know that I've got to keep my composure at the hospital to care for her, so I really would appreciate it if you guys will pray extra hard for us tonight and for the next couple of days.
Thank you to my forum family!

Tamor,
Prayers are going up for your Mom, and just remember about your sister...she has the same emotions but to the extreme...don't get into a control match with her...speak softly and tag team people to "ask her to come with them for coffee" or something when you see it agitating your mother. Let it be you asking for her companionship or help...don't make her think it is about her.
Love & Prayers, Rhoni

Tamor called and said that her mother is out of surgery and in recover. The doctor said that everything went fine and she is awake and should be in her room within the hour.
Thanks for your prayers!

I just got back from have dinner with Tamor, her hubby and two daughters. It was a good break for them to get away from the hospital while her mom was in recovery and waiting to be placed in a room.
The other situation worked out okay too. A small incident, but all is well and it's just Tamor and her two daughters there now. Her hubby rode up on his motorcycle and was heading back home after we had dinner.
Good BBQ at The Commissary.

I'm glad to hear this; I've been at church and haven't heard a word yet.

Thank you all for praying! My mom is home, resting in her own bed. How many know that there is NO rest in a hospital? LOL. The surgery went well, the surgeon was very pleased, and her attitude and spirits are wonderful. I still sit back, looking at my mom and wonder who she is and what she did with my real mother. She is a totally different person than she was when she was diagnosed last year.
As Renda has already posted, there was one incident with my sister, but God REALLY took care of things. Not what I expected at all, so I know it was a God thing.
Please keep my mom in your prayers for the next few months. We still have to hear from the pathology report and we have two months of radiation to go. But I/we know that God has not brought us this far to fail us now!!
