According to the Bible, the "old paths" are the ways prescribed by God in His Law-Word:

Jeremiah ch 6:

8 Be thou instructed, O Jerusalem, lest my soul depart from thee; lest I make thee desolate, a land not inhabited.

18 Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them.
19 Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.

Those who pride themselves on customs and traditions of their elders that are NOT the Word of God, but which are substituted in place of God's laws, are not in the Old Paths, and will suffer evil at the hand of God, sooner or later.

And casting my eye across the panorama of destruction wasting both society and the church, it's looking like sooner rather than later.

Visting a large group of different churches you will find what you are looking for. From mild to wild.

Church I grew up in had a big not so gentle giant 6'11 guy built like a Hulk run the aisles and miss a turn after making several laps and then he took out a set of our brand new heavy wooden doors...like right off the hinges....simultaneously to that...my pastor who was doing a spin around really fast thing with his eyes clamped shut just so happened to open his eyes right as Bro. HULK made contact...I caught his expression...priceless...service before that some lady was SWKEC shouting while keeping eyes closed...doing some sort of head bang maneuver...put a big Holy Magic Hair sized crater in the drywall.


Eyes open people.


Had another guy running the aisles...eyes closed again...pastors wife had wandered into the oncoming path with her eyes closed as well...he opened his eyes a second before collision and literally vaulted over the corner section.
