Thanks, I already have that data.

Harry did not write any books. He was a radio man. There are no sermon tapes. That technology was not around back then.

Access to a old San Francisco newspaper came my way today.

I now have a pic of a customer eating at the soup kitchen at the mission. I also picked up a new student from 1932, plus her picture.

It has been a productive day.

William Francis Manley penned a prophecy book back in 1925. It was titled Galaxy of Coming Events. A copy of the book came in the mail today.

I'm not sure how many books I have purchased in writing this biography. I'm even not sure how many books I have yet to purchase. But I think we are nearing the end of the road.

David Gray, Harry Morse student from 1934, has more than a few sermon tapes on the market. One by one I will purchase them in order to find the Harry Morse quote I was told could be found in his sermons.

That last sentence was not my best. I should never write when I am tired.

The Azusa Street revival began in April of 1906. The San Francisco earthquake began the same week. WW1 began in 1914.

Some of those who were at the Apostolic Faith Mission felt the earthquake and WW1 were signs of the end of the world. A similar view was held by Harry Morse in 1928.

Had it not been for the earthquake and war, I wonder if eschatology would have had the preeminence it had on Pentecostal thought. ??

I find a lot of audio for free just use Google although Elder David Gray seemed to preach many years and probably has 1000s of messages. Most preachers say personal references over and over again especially at Conferences so if the man was his teacher there is a good chance he references in many different sermons.
