Re: Pastor goes off on trinity doubters

The whole group is messed up. These guys are like Ruckmanites. I have dealt with Independent Baptists for years. They hate One God, they hate Jesus name baptism. KJV Onlyists and are acid on anyone using any other translation. But before anyone gets too happy that these guys are becoming Apostolics, don't. Because they are confused now, as they were the first day they were baptized in titles.

Tyler Baker actually is baptizing in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Still denies Holy Ghost baptism and genuine repentance.

Like I said, these guys are still conflicted. I pray that they all (including Steven Andersin, and the guy who asked for a little grace) would get saved.
But they are all having issues, which Theology maybe the least of their problems?

How does he deny genuine repentance?

We believe salvation is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and not of works. We believe a person is saved at the moment they trust Jesus Christ as their savior. We reject Lordship salvation, repent-of-your sins salvation, and any other works based gospel. Acts 16:30-31, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 4:4-5, John 6:47

Weird. I guess that’s the reason Paul Washer gets accused of preaching a works based salvation, because he preaches a Lordship salvation and repentance.

Yes, because Paul Washer wanted the Baptist youth to exhibit "fruit" Where his peers were a little sketchy on looking for any sort of actual change in behavior.

I’m pretty sure that I have heard Anderson say that you can be saved without ever saying a prayer.
