I know the book. What was your take away from reading it?

Please explain in what ways does it apply to the LXX?

Seeing that the LXX is widely quoted in the NT. Why didn't you look closer into their Greek OT?

Re: The LXX

I can't be everywhere. Koine Greek is a language I seldom, if ever use. I have pressing needs for language skills in Ojibwe and Menominee and Ho Chunk. These are languages of people groups I rub shoulders with on a regular basis.

Other demands cry for my attention that have nothing to do with linguistics. These responsibilities are not ignored.

In addition to the ordinary responsibilities, I am trying to wrap up a biography project that consumes my spare time.

I simply don't have time or need to research LXX studies.
