C'mon. It's everywhere. I've seen good men do it because they were taught that this is what "church" is.

And it isn't just Apostolics or Pentecostals that are guilty either. It's pretty common throughout the church world.

Wrong. Let's revisit this in a few years.

I have been in the UPC all my life, even when I left a few years I was connected, and I don't know one single, sole, solitary pastor or minister who believes the "light doctrine."

Now, I certainly don't personally know all the thousands of licensed UPCI Pastors (sorry about using numbers), so I would admit that there may be a few who are leaning liberal.

A few, huh have you seen the General conference lately? If it was a snake it would bite you. Carry on.

Start talking about peoples sacred cow bring the UPC up..

But my point is this...

Just because someone doesn't attend the local Sunday show in a big fancy church building, with everyone all dressed up in stuffy Sunday bests, with a dancing panel of clapping choir members, and a vibrato filled preacher with fake tears... it doesn't mean that they have forsaken the assembling of the saints.

A gathering of two or three... in humble authenticity, who desire to be conformed into the image of Jesus, has more power than the gathering of a thousand who are merely conformed into the image of some organization or denomination.

Modern idolatry is being fashioned into the image of someone or something other than Jesus.

If you're more conformed into the image of a denomination, organization, or church than the image of Jesus Himself... you ain't going to make it. The way is much more narrow than most realize.
