I cannot find much data about him in 1921-1924.

What are the circumstances under which Booth-Clibborn became Oneness and how he became trinitarian ??

The 1918 newspaper described him as "He is a natural orator-giant in intellect, possesses a knowledge of the Bible equalled by few, enjoys an international reputation, preached since he was 15 years of age, ministered in 4 languages all over Europe’s Western Nations. His wide experience and extensive travel enables him to speak with no uncertainty of world conditions as they stand related to the fulfillment of prophecy. His messages are thrilling, inspiring, entertaining and instructive to young and old".

In 1920, he preaches a sermon called "The Sham Faith Church in Los Angeles and the True Faith Church Coming".

In a 1923 tent revival in St. Louis, William Booth-Clobborn preaches against "dancing, bobbed hair and jazz music."

Any leads ???
He preached the Oneness message across the nation. But later realighned with Trinitarians.

Re: Who was Harry Morse ?

William Manley pastored the Household of God mission in Oakland from 1906-1911. He had service every night and 2 mid day healing services.

Harry Morse, at the Big Downtown Mission had services 5 nights per week. Some revivals lasted a month. Back to back revivals lasted for even longer.

Service schedules sure have changed over the years.

There's a reason for that...

Re: Who was Harry Morse ?

I'm very frustrated.

F. C. Batchelder was one of the very first students of Harry Morse.

Batchelder published a prophecy newsletter from his Richmond, California home. He also pastored there.

3 issues of his newsletter came in the mail today. Issues from 1938, 1946 and 1952.

Nearly every page is covered with articles about prophecy. No data about Batchelder himself. No biographical data at all.

That's 62 pages of prophecy. A topic I have no concerns about at all. One could make lemonade out of lemons. In the 1929 class notes, Morse spends several days covering the book of Revelation. Perhaps one could compare the interpretation of Batchelder to that of Morse.

There is an address or 2 I can follow up on.

I was hoping there would be more useful data.

Re: Who was Harry Morse ?

Frank Batchelder knew Aimee McPherson before she went to China. They preached together.

He later pastored William Durhams church a year after Durham passed.

Looks like Batchelder evangelized in 1946 in CA, OR, WA, TX, OK, KS, CO, ID.

The data came from an article published by Bill Britton in Springfield, Mo.

I may have already mentioned this (forgive my memory lapse if I have) but my great-grandfather was a friend of William Booth-Clibborn and preached for him when B-C pastored in Portland, Oregon. I have a book in my possession from Booth-Clibborn's library entitled "Bobbed Hair, Bossy Wives, & Women Preachers," by author John Rice.

Re: Who was Harry Morse ?

G.T. Haywood published a monthly magazine called the Christian Outlook.

It is not online. It is not in book form. I had trouble finding anyone who had any of them, until this morning.

Darrin Rodgers, at the AOG archive, has a incomplete set. I just ordered what they have from 1923-1930. Not sure what I will find, but, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Haywood was in Oakland in 1921 preaching at a newly established PAW church. I don't know if Morse and Haywood knew each other. They were both at the 1913 Arroyo Seco Campmeeting.

I have never seen a Christian Outlook. But that will change.

Darrin is a nice guy and an accomplished historian in his own right. Christ Temple should have them originally the Christian Outlook was callled Voice In the Wilderness.

Re: Who was Harry Morse ?

Christ Temple does not have them. I called them and they not only did not have them, they had no idea who might.

I will keep my eyes open and if I get a chance to purchase some copies, I will.
