My experience with such things is that the bumper usually has an agenda...in other words they are looking for 'something'.

Of course I have an agenda. I cannot talk about the things I talk about here in my assembly. This place is the only place I can think of. I can count on some people having connections to UPCI. I was in the AofG for only one year so going to a AofG site would be meaningless.
I AM looking for something. Not sure what yet.
I love to work backwards on the post and "bump" post from many years ago to see what you will do. I am fascinated on how the subjects changed over the years. As a matter of fact you see the direct connection between events and subjects Apostolics have posted.
So far I see we have ten posters here that always seem to comment. I am almost to the point I can guess who and what they will say.

That is funny.
Think about Evang, how could I be in all those churches around the world yet still call the POA my home church. Maybe I have family on staff in the POA?
As far as losing track of "Heard" I am not tracking all preachers I listened to in the 80's.
My job...I am a bank teller.

Re: Richard Heard?
Richard Heard has been out and pastoring in Houston since 1989. Here is a link to the church website. I believe the prior pastor wa the very, very, very, very, very conservative Bean family. First mother Bernice Bean in 1950 and later her son Verbal Bean beginning 1967. The church has changed a little bit since the decades the Bean family pastored.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

This isn't the "UPCI Forum." Other than Amanah and Praxeas, I don't think there are any UPCIers on this forum. Mizpeh and Barb and Marie### (sorry, sister Marie, forgot the number lol) might be UPC?
The rest of us are independents or COOLJC or some other group. Oh, and a lot seem to just be "ex" something or other.

CC1 posted that he left in 89.
So, where were you?

I am Apostolic Pentecostal born and bred.
The assembly of my youth did not become UPCI until the late 50s.
For 24 years I was COOLJC in affiliation.
The church I am aligned with today is not connected/licensed through any particular org, though I would say it is closer in affiliation to the ALJC...
