I have a friend and former coworker who was pulled over late one night. This was some time after the officer had to defend himself against Michael Brown that dindu nuffin- he was a good boy.

Anyway, my friend told me that he felt he was racially profiled by the officer. I asked what happened and where.

My friend was pulled over because the light that illuminated the rear license plate was out. I asked if the light was out. My friend affirmed.
I asked for the location. Being familiar with the highway I know that at night it is a dark stretch.
The window tint is dark. My friend does not have the typical build for an AA. He is short and rather skinny. No way the officer knew he is a young black man before making contact. His first and last name could also fit a Caucasian male.
I gave all these reasons as to why it is not likely at all that he was racially profiled.

Even though I am an African American, it really makes me sick seeing all of these other African American's constantly claiming victimhood in every situation.

I feel the reason that they think others are racist, is because they are extremely racist themselves. They look at everything through the lens of color, and can't see any rationale, or any other reason for anything, other than the color of their skin. It frustrates me that they're so incredibly blinded by color.

I consider myself an individual when it comes to race. When someone says something about or does something to a black person, I don't feel personally offended, as if what you do/say about one black, you're targeting all blacks, because it isn't me.

I believe that racism exists, but I don't believe that it is anywhere as widespread as people are trying to make it out to be. It's like they want to try and take us back to the first half of last century.

I wonder if there's any video of a law abiding citizen, who wasn't acting belligerent, and was cooperating with the cops, and the cops were just wrong. The vast majority, if not all of these videos, are showing the people acting in the wrong, and trying to blame it all on the cops.

In a former job, I drove rental cars, a lot.
I was stopped a lot, because rental cars are used for nefarious activity.
By a lot, I mean over 20 times, maybe 30.
Never received a ticket.

Last time I was pulled over was early this year ... March or something. I was taking my daughters to my parents house and didn't realize I was doing 40 in a 25 construction zone. I was given a warning.

Before that, it's been probably 7+ years.
