If God would not have said this first....


26 And God said, Let us make man


Then no Adam.


God can either form some things from nothing or form some things to make things.

It is fine either way.


Jesus(sperm cell) was made by both nothing becoming something and Mary's something (egg). Both substances.

14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.


God always knew Jesus in eternity, and made Adam in Jesus' image. This made Jesus the firstborn of creation.(Born of Mary, mind/will before Cain/Able).

The "us" in the verse is speaking to the man, Christ Jesus, that was slain before that point in time(before time began).

Only our timeless God can see the future in real time.
