So beards grow regardless of what anyone does to them. Just like Testosterone plummets because of excess fat. The same goes for estrogen in females. Even when a man shaves his beard is back by the afternoon.

I try to pass on the French fries.
I didn't begin wearing a beard until I was 34. After my divorce I grew it out. My beard actually added some character to my look. Made me more interesting or something because more people talked to me when I'd go out to socialize. I've thought of shaving a couple times, but my lady loves it. She says it expresses my rugged adventurous side. I guess it's fine with me if it works for her. Lol
