Her name is Yvonne Reynolds/Hanson her husband's name is Steve.
If anyone would have info on either of these two brothers it would be Mike Sponsler missionary to Argentina Or Yvonne Hanson.

Hey Loren,
I believe you are referring to David Reynolds and his younger brother Paul Reynolds. They are both the sons of the late Rev. Ralph Vincent Reynolds and they were from Ontario, Canada. Elder Reynolds pastored churches in Ontario & the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in New Westminister, British Colombia. R.V. Reynolds was a missionary to Jamaica and was president of Conqueror's Bible College from 1957 to 1963. He also pastored in Portland and was the District Superintendent of the old Northwest District that stretched from the Southern Oregon border all the way to the North Pole and included Montana, Wyoming, western Canada and Alaska. He later returned to CBC as president from 1979 to 1981 where I knew him.
His son Paul Reynolds still pastors his father's old church in New Westminster. I've been there...it is one of the grandest old buildings you'll see in Pentecost. The pipe organ alone is incredible!
David Reynolds retired as the long-time superintendent of a school district in Gresham and then entered the ministry where he has written many books and conducted seminars. He and his wife are fine people. They attend their son-in-law Steve Hanson's church in Portland, which remains a United Pentecostal Church, to my knowledge.
I don't believe there is any connection between this Reynolds family and the one Scott is researching.

Re: Who was Harry Morse ?
Florence Crawford may not have believed in the social purity doctrine, but she did not believe in marriage.
Here is a quote:
77 Though Florence Crawford was not directly involved in this drama of relational
issues, the fact that Lum chose to join Crawford after leaving Los Angeles is significant, considering her strong beliefs against the propriety of marriage, in general. Her conviction of the imminence of Christ’s second coming led her to believe that engagement in any “worldly” affairs, including marriage, were superfluous and improper considering the urgency of the call to prepare for Christ’s return. For this reason, Crawford was also opposed to Seymour’s marriage.
Despite the tech problems, today, in finding this quote has made today productive.

Re: Who was Harry Morse ?
Oakland Tribune 7/25/1915
Mrs. Florence Crawford, editor, prison reform worker and lecturer on psychology, of the Portland Woman's Club, discussed "TheRightful Heritage of Children."
Crawford was in San Francisco for a week meeting with the Purity Congress. Which was not an exclusively Christian in composition.
The resulting resolution of the week:
The slogan of the World's Purity Federation is that "Thewhite Slave Traffic and Public Vice Can and Must Be Annihilated." This federation seeks to employ the whole range of religious, educational, medical, literary and legal agencies to promote social and personal purity and elevate public opinion.
We declare that experience has proven the complete failure of segregation.
we congratulate California on the adoption of the injunction and abatement law. We recommend another law providing for an enforcement officer in every state to see that such laws are properly enforced.
We recommend scientific study of the physical, social and moral issues involved in marriage, and national divorce laws, uniform in every state; also that three years' residence be required before a divorce is granted.
This is the first time I have seen Florence Crawford described in a non Pentecostal setting.
Since Harry Morse worked exclusively with the poor and since he also promoted women in society, we have a parallel between the social impact of Crawford and Morse.
I have not found any meeting between the two outside of Azusa Street.

Re: Who was Harry Morse ?
The Women's Christian Temperance Union is going to be a group I need to explore. I wonder how many Pentecostal names will be in their lists ? Looks like the YMCA was also there.
"Dancing should not be made a cloak for the social evil and drinking. The greatest source of vice which we found here in San Francisco was the drinking in dance halls."
I wonder if this view of dancing is why it is prohibited in holiness churches ? Did it arise from this social purity movement ?
Catherine Booth-Clibborn was a speaker at the Purity Conference.

Re: Who was Harry Morse ?
Looks like there are 2 Florence Crawfords. Florence Gloria Crawford lived in San Francisco and Florence L. Crawford lived in Portland.
I need to sort this out.

Thank you, you have cleared that up, I just could not remember their names. David and his wife were friends of my parents when we lived in Portland during 69 and 70, and attended Neighborhood. I know Steve Hanson through his wife, I met him not long after they first were married. My eldest daughter and husband attended their church when they were in Milwaukie, just off the 205 freeway. My wife and I also visited their church one weekend we went down to visit our children.
And you are right now that I have the names straight, they are not related to the family Scott is researching.

Re: Who was Harry Morse ?
Rose Mueller was a healing evangelist from around 1920 to around ??? She knew Harry Morse and I have a picture of them together at a tent revival in 1925 Oakland. She was also in Modesto, Phoenix and Pueblo, Col.
So I spent some time tracking her down today. She was born in 1871 Illinois. Not sure when she passed or where else she went. She began as Methodist, Volunteers of America, Salvation Army and then pastored for 9 years before becoming a healing evangelist.
Winifred Westfield began in San Francisco around 1919 and moved to Phoenix in 1920 and remained there until 1956. She was a minister there. She also evangelized in California.
They both knew Harry Morse but finding more data about them is evaisive.
Mattie Crawford was another healing evangelist who travelled the USA. But she fades out of the picture and her ending is unknown. I have not researched her, yet.
All 3 were ministry peers of Harry Morse.

Re: Who was Harry Morse ?
Rose Mueller was a lady evangelist in the 1920's. Finding data about her is not easy. Not sure if she was Oneness or not, such evangelists preached in both circles.
She did work with Mattie Crawford. So I have been tracking Crawford hoping to find more data about Mueller. So far, they crossed paths only once.
Both evangelists travelled extensively. But Mueller did not leave much of a paper trail. Both preached for Harry Morse in Oakland.
Understanding who was in the social circle of Harry Morse helps me to understand who Harry was.
