A UPC church I once attended briefly was very vocal about its standards. The pastor and pastor's wife regularly had ladies meetings where they would talk about the "spirit of Jezebel" and list the things they were against. Pants, low necklines, makeup, cutting/trimming hair.

Yet, their two daughters wore tight, and I mean tight, skirts and dresses and what they joked about as "hooker heels."

The modestly dressed lady who trimmed her hair or wore covergirl was going to hell, but their two immodestly dressed daughters were saints. And woe be to anyone who dared to question their clothing.

Bro. Aquila,
Your definition of a choker is different than us women. There used to be choker necklaces that were at the neckline - never hanging loose or long. I thought that is what you meant until you mentioned the scarf. Maybe some others are thinking the same. Thank you for explaining yourself.
