I usually defend people not because of gender, but because they are right.
But I have an interesting story when I was a young in my days before Christ. I was with a friend and we were at a nightclub. We were walking back to our motorcycles when we saw this big dude beating his girlfriend. My friend quicker than I could say anything, ran over and KOed the individual. When they guy was lying on the floor with little birdies flying around his head. My friend then walked over to the fair maiden. She sprung up with a high heel in her hand and rage in her eyes. She put a gash in his head, proceeded to claw at him. I stood their with arms folded shaking my head. After he got the attacking wild woman off him. He turned to me and said "why didn't you help me?" I said "my man, a hero is just a sandwich." also "it was a failed endeavor from the start.'

Getting involved in a domestic dispute is always risky. Tell me something. Would you just walk away or call the police and hope they got there on time before a woman was beaten to death or beaten within an inch of her life?
Evidently, by your own admission and example, your friend has guts and a moral sense of decency that perhaps you lack. Yes, the woman got stupid. But guess what? Regardless of her reaction, she's not as battered as she would have been had your friend just watched on the sidelines with his hands in his pockets like you probably would have.

Deuteronomy 22:5
5 The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God. This speaks nothing of style or design. It speaks of intended use. A man isn't to wear any clothing that was intended for a woman, neither a woman anything that was intended for a man.
Therefore, it would be improper for a man to wear a pair of ladies Jordache jeans or even a T-shirt intended for women. Likewise, it would be improper for a woman to wear a traditional kilt or tartan socks and garters.

I agree with your points, but I'm also persuaded by a few other points
- skirts, unless skin tight, are generally more modest than pants
- transgendered men typically express their perversion by wearing skirts
- to wear modest skirts, long hair, and no makeup is so radically opposite of the worlds perverseness as to be subversive to the world system

I don't disagree. I'm in full support of biblical modesty.
I believe that modesty as it comes to clothing includes the following:
- Adequate coverage
- Nothing extreme in cost.
- Nothing extreme in style. Your clothes shouldn't draw any attention to you. I believe that some "Pentecostal" styles of dress are rather extreme in style and draw a significant amount of attention when out in public. I believe that drawing attention to one's self by dressing like one is from the late 1800's is just as immodest as a woman wearing skin tight jeans. So too are $800 suits. I knew an old time a pastor who had enough money to wear plenty of $800 suits. However, he chose to shop second hand at thrift stores for his clothing. He truly was a modest, humble, and wise man.

I agree. However, modesty is not strictly about discouraging lust. We live in a sex crazed culture, and as a result we've focused on that aspect of modesty and neglected the fullness of what modesty is. Modesty involves extreme of style. That means anything that is way "out there" by cultural standards that invites unnecessary attention. It also includes cost. Something that is obviously expensive and/or flashy is also immodest.
