You can see the difference in the country when a Conservative is in office and when it is a Liberal. A Constitutional Conservative will invariably be interested in restoring our Constitutional principles first and foremost. Your point is moot.
PO - one of my main reasons in voting for Trump was the SCOTUS. If he follows through with his promise in replacing Scalia, it will have been worth it.
