Yeah, and a revelation for some to stop trolling.

yes E, i do it in the manner that you hold in your mind, the fence sitting kind imo, at Judahcc, really my mom's church, the one i have previously posted about, but the important ones to me are the spontaneous ones, out in the world, wherever two or three of us happen to come together over some need that manifests among...people in a ditch, usually. Quite often, no one is known to the others, and i would say that usually none of the others is aware that two or three are gathering in His Name.

but i don't mean to denigrate the first one in principle, and even in practice that is a pretty good congregation imo. There is still hierarchy, pastor is on a pedestal, but through no fault of his imo, as he seems quite humble and approachable. Hierarchy is mostly in the minds of the Cong there.

i think both serve vital functions, and certainly no Cong is perfect in the way humans seek "perfect" anyway.

you aren't missing anything, if i understand you correctly. MB and i haven't started our spiritual discussion yet, if that is even going to happen. We seem to be mostly defining a lexicon right now...or i guess maybe avoiding defining a lexicon right now lol.

We're stuck at the moment on belief and faith, on another thread. Of course they share a definition, but i can't help but see even that one as corrupted, i believe in music. do you believe in angels? like that, sort of like a shadow of faith, if i may put it that way...objectified, perhaps?

but then there are beliefs, which might give me a better shot at separating the two, maybe? i believe music can have a powerful effect on people. i believe angels exist, but "ghosts" are for Halloween, Casper is a ghost, a personality with obvious free will, unlike a spirit. like that. So, subjectified, subject to change, subjects to my faith, which are not dependent upon my beliefs.

I've asked for a better word, and if you have any suggestions i'd love to hear them, 'bout to head over there now, we'll see if we have made any progress there!
