But the question is not "What did the elders think?" While their opinions ought to be consulted for insight the fact is they are dead. The question is "What does THIS generation think?" In other words, the future is not decided by the dead, but the living. We must look forward, not backward. With Scripture as our infallible guide, we do not REQUIRE any "founders" or "constitutions" or other documents of men.

The LORD is our LAWGIVER, the LORD is our JUDGE, the LORD is our KING: HE will save us.
