I'd rather have Perry or Jindal in the main debate, instead of Dr. Ben Carson. IMO, Dr. Carson was out of his element in the first debate. He's well versed on healthcare, but not real in depth in other policies or issues.

And was it just me, or did he sound out of breath whenever he was answering questions?

Re: Fox News releases Debate Line Up

I read an interview with FoxNew's Chris Wallace, who is one of the moderators for the debate. He said they have some questions to try and entice Trump into attacking the other candidates. He also said they have "some doozies" lined up to ask the candidates in order to try to get them out of their prepared and rehearsed remarks.

Jeb Bush unleashed!

“Seriously, what’s this guy’s problem?” he asked one party donor he ran into recently, according to accounts provided by several sources close to Bush—and he went on to describe the publicity-seeking real estate developer now surging in public polls far ahead of Bush and all the 15 others in the Republican field as “a buffoon,” “clown” and “[curse word].”

Looking forward to watching this debate!

I think the attacking Trump will backfire.

I don't think he's really a serious candidate in the long run, but I'm liking him more just seeing his common sense answers, even if he's gruff, at least he is what he is.

"I don't have time for political correctness".

It does make Fox look bad to start off the "debate" by trying to bait Trump (to his credit he didn't back down) and their "questions" seem to be something from CNN.

I think they were partial to Bush, the media seems to be pushing him forward.

Did seem that way. Jeb probably wouldn't be in my top 5 of the 17, but if my choices are Jeb or Hillary, that's an easy choice.

I like Ted Cruz. And Donald is refreshing in that he's not a politician. I don't think he has any chance, but I'm pulling for him to do good enough to be involved in the later debates in primary season. If for nothing else than entertainment and pushing issues to the forefront.

Yes, he received 8 questions, Walker 7, Carson, Kasich, Rubio, Trump 6, Cruz, Paul, Huckabee 5, Christie 4.

Megyn was allowing him to line out his defense on the issues against him.

He had an epic fail on the Common Core answer. Any state can opt out. That isn't true. You can't opt out when all the textbooks align to Common Core and the Federal gov't promises you additional funding to comply.

He also had an epic fail sitting on the Board of a company that supports abortion funding.

I was really surprised at how unprofessional and biased the Fox moderators came across, especially Meagyn Kelly. She was worse than Candace Crowley.
