Why did he wait so long??? Should never have become an issue, maybe we can get on with the weightier issues of the country.

The whole thing is a distraction. He's busy blaming the oil companies for high gas prices while the fed is printing money; which is the real culprit.
He releases it on the day the fed has a press conference and when has that ever happened?

I agree, but then again, there is the principle of privacy and maybe even a certain amount of pride. No other Presidential candidate before was ever asked to show his birth certificate to the general public.

The Secretary of State (Condoleezza Rice)'s office and the Republican Governor of Hawaii at the time, both confirmed and verified the eligibility of each of the candidates. Either we are a nation governed by law or we are not.



I hope this goes to show just how goofy a Trump candidacy will end up being... but probably not.

He caved in.

He is weak.

He does not have my vote, but he didn't have my vote anyway.


That's what his Administration fails to realize in giving in to the nuttjobs on the right concerning this matter. The birther-people who were not going to vote for him because of this will not vote for him regardless of what he says or does-- good or bad.

Now they will find something else to foam at the mouth over.


This has got to be one of the saddest commentaries on American politics-- the nuances of this whole debacle are telling!


I DESPISE the fact that the President has done this.

I bet he does too.
