The work of the minstry

What is the "work of the ministry"? Who performs it, and who teaches it.

I see that there are five "offices" in the Ministry, but only "one" Ministry. This is just
my take on the matter.

Each office complements one another, and there is no office above or superior to another.
Each are subject to the Lord and are to be submissive one to another. No one office, or
individual holding an office, knows everything: but collectively we can know about
as much as the Lord wills us to know.

"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and
some, pastors and teachers;"

Doesn't it say these ministries teach the saints to do the work of the ministry?

I believe that the Apostle John's account in 1 John 2:12-14 closely correlates to the
scripture in Ephesians 4:12.

Re: The work of the minstry

His NAME is Jesus!

So the ultimate result of the Christian walk is our perfection.
Is the Ministry, as a whole, responsible for our perfection? Of course! But each is
responsible according to their Calling: to edify; or teach the work of the ministry; or
perfect the saints.

Who has the primary responsibility for the "...work of the ministry..."?
