The newspapers pick criminals like the Whites and Benny Sin to show the bottom of the barrel Christianity. I am saddened at the prospects of the United Pentecostal Church International having to accept television.

Who will be the representative for the United Pentecostal Church International on television? Will the United Pentecostal Church International have criteria for all those who would want to go on television?

Brothers and Sisters what if UPCI would have had television back during the Lanny Wolfe and Ronald Nation episodes? What if these men had featured broadcasts around the world?

Will the United Pentecostal Church International have their own Paula Whites and Benny Hinns, Jimmy Swaggerts, Jim Bakers?

Paula White and her husband are nothing new to the American people. We are use to seeing these jokers disappoint the poor.

I have said and will continue to say it.

It's all about the MONEY!

It starts out with a little gold dust in the air, then the gold pops up in the teeth. Then the people come and the gold fills the pockets of the charlatans and then the newspapers wait like a hunter in a tree stand. Until one day zap an arrow right in the heart, and a journalist has himself a trophy. God forbid!

Sadly all those who are under the same titles Pentecostal, Christians, all pay the price for these criminals and their antics.

Don't vote in Television!

In Jesus name

You know... I agree to a point, but it is not about dirty rotten television, it's about dirty rotten hearts. Why take lesson from these fallen showboaters - saying we will follow suit?
Why not rather look at a group of Lutherens and what they are doing for Jesus on TV?

If there must be any rules concerning TV ministry, I would be in favor of forbidding any spiel to collect money whatsoever. Limit it to a 60 second screen flash at the end of each airing. That would weed out some goats...

Thad,

Nothing sited here is any different from other couples who have been promoted nationally and financially in a short period of time.

I have been to without Walls numerous times and it is a very nice church to go to. Many elderly people, shut-ins especially, send money, more than they can afford...for people they don't know to pray for them when they are sick and feeble. They are not sought out to take advantage of, but they seek healing or financial gain by sending their money to others. My grandfather did this trying to bargain with God on many occasions.

Paula and Randy White are responsible for what they do with the funds, but they are not to blame for people spending their personal incomes unwisely.

This is my opinion.

Blessings, Rhoni

These comments are unnecessary. Paula ministers to many people. Ministry people are human and not without faults...even myself.

Paula White may make people feel better about themselves; she may address the symptoms of some temporal issues people deal with.

But ministry that doesn't have a clue how to tell someone to get to Heaven isn't really ministry in the Scriptural sense.

My comment stands. And it really has nothing to do with how much money she makes. It's about the fact that she isn't preaching truth to people.

I have no idea who Paula White is for I live in a complete different world than most...however would it not be best for us to mind our own business and look at the souls within our reach and minister to them...
PW and all of us will one day give account to the Judge of the earth...and He keeps exact books on us all...Mom Alvear

Another travesty waiting to happen. Can't handle WP, so I don't watch. It is sad when personality takes the place of Jesus, then offerings become the focus of the whole service. Three offerings in one service??? Did I say personality? Actually it seems authentically fake.

She is without a ministry. They are false teachers and preacher. they are leading people to hell with their false doctrine.

I thought something was so interesting last night. We were in a poverty stricken village. I mean very poor people. There was not enough room for all that were present in the tiny rented hall. The pastor had saved a small rented plastic chair for Brother Alvear and me on the tiny pulpit. That was all that would fit! I am not a pulpit person. I don't like to sit on pulpits but since he had someone to lead us through the crowd to get there. I took my seat. I just sat and watched as probably 25 or more people had their turn to testify or sing. There was no music only Brother Alvear's worn accordion...It did not seem to bother them, they worshipped and prayed for a long time. Their smiles of happiness were contagious. Different from the 3 songs and a testimony some places…
I thought, "it takes so little to make some people so happy.”
Many times people say if I just had a car I would work for God and God gives them a car but they don't keep their vow...if I just had this or that...My friend those people never do anything but blessed is the man or woman that steps out on nothing and declares, "I will work for God."
Thank the Lord for the many nice things of your country but remember there are people that have nothing and love God and worship knowing they will go to bed hungry...
All those believe it and claim it is mostly an emotional thing and has nothing to do with the real principles of living and working for God.
I know this post is off the subject but I thought about it reading these others posts. I wonder do we really KNOW what the real gospel is? Do we really know the ONE that said, “Foxes have holes birds have nests but the son of man hath not where to lay his head.”
I am afraid many of us do not really know...
