The INSPIRED text is the original text.

The fact that every copy in existence has errors, means absolutely nothing.

God works through our human fallibility and he bypasses human error by the multitude of available texts.

Are you be able to tell the original Mona Lisa from a copy by an advanced art student?

Yes the Word of God is definitely inerrant, I have zero doubts about it, but that does not apply to copies or to translations.

There are hundredths of Bibles and they all basically translate Acts 2:38 and the rest of the other texts using similar words, so yes salvation is in any good translation of the Bible.

How come I have zero problem preaching the same message from multiple translations or versions of the Bible?

I have read about 25 books by textual critics about the text of the NT. So this is not new information to me.

The time I spend actually translating is more beneficial that time spent studying textual criticism. Since I translate from papyri 46, I do not worry about it's textual history.
The P46 is the Pauline Epistles, from what I have read it is what has been passed down to us today. Don't you agree? If you don't agree point out which of the epistles are problematic. Don't we only have 80 of the 104 pages of P46?

I have a facsimile of 35 pages.

Some of the pages are housed at the University of Michigan and I believe can be read on line. Is that where you are translating from? Is the Chester Bede portions of P46 on line? I'll check.

Your information is correct. I download an image of it and translate it.

Good luck finding some else who does the same thing, just for fun.
