*Sadly, it is the "woman-preacher" in the church who is "fighting against God." God has already clearly forbid it in His Word in the clearest language possible.
*We have explained this to you until we could (& almost have) passed out. What do you do? What you've always done in an effort to protect "women preachers" - plug your ears & completely ignore the close exegesis, textual facts, & syntax of the Bible. It's absolutely mind-boggling .

*Still being your usual snarky self about this matter aren't we - of course, all the while feigning innocence.
*And, for about the 500th time, the Greek verb translated "prophesy" is not - nor will it ever be - a sermon from the Scriptures to the church.
*Shall I quote the lexical data for you again? I actually have soooo much more exegetical-lexical data on this topic since this thread died (majorly overhauled my original-languages library) .
*Yes Ma'am - "women preachers" in the church are still out of their God-alloted place & so are the pastors who allow it . Lemme' guess - the same ol' copy-paste jobs are forthcoming right? No problem - we'll just demonstrate the outright factual errors & gross textual mistakes once again (for about the 500th time ).

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
So Nona Freeman was "out of her place"?
I'm sorry I decided to look into Apostolic Friends Forum once again.
The "friend" part is mis-placed.
I've never read such judgmental hogwash in my entire life and I'm sorry I did.
The Jesus I know must be saddened by this thread and the vicious tone so many of you "holier then thou" men take on this forum.
I will not be back, carry on in your cruelty towards others, God will judge.

FOR THE RECORD, IT SAYS:
"And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our
own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away
our reproach."
Please don't attempt to make scripture say what it doesn't say.

Here is a dilemna, when scripture is given and called judgemental hogwash. I agree with you with people as Sis. Nona Freeman and many others, but what do you do with the Bible. If you say the scripture does not mean that when it is obvious what it says. If you cast out scripture based on personal experience then the Baptist are fine to say that Acts 2:38 does not mean what it says and you can baptize Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
This is where we get in trouble when we explain scripture away. I am not judging any lady in these types of ministry, but as for the church I attend and the people I fellowship I will follow scripture unless some clarity or revelation is given otherwise. Understand the scripture is given for doctrine, not life experience. Just because we do something and it seems to work doesn't mean that God is pleased. It is wrong to condemn anyone for trying to obey God's word.

I have no problem explaining any scripture concerning women in ministry....however it is a waste of time to those who believe different....

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
a very good book on this subject was written by Pauline Tolstad many years ago. I do not know if it is still in print...

I am very interested. I am not meaning to be combatant against ladies in ministry and I apologize if any post would appear that way. Matter of fact as far as ladies preaching I can somewhat see that through the example of Philip's 4 daughter's. I view preaching and prophesying to be very close. I just believe that certain church positions are specific to man.
