God knows...that goes without saying.
My concern is that God has given the Church his Spirit, so: "...the LORD hath anointed me to
preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound..."
is that no longer in effect? Or do you folks believe that it only applied to the Lord Jesus?

So many fall below the mark of truly living by faith, and I think folks somehow fix an assumed tolerance for certain situations, when we just cannot say either way. Leave it to God, brethren.

"And they went forth, and preached every where..."
Does that mean that the Church "believes" the gospel, but has no "faith" in the gospel?
"...the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.

What has that got to do with suicide?

Re: Is suicide a sin?
I BELIEVE THAT MINISTERING TO THE SICK AND LOST HAS BEEN ADDRESSED.
I also believe that the sick and lost (which include suicidal souls) are to be healed and saved by
the preaching of the word. Of that I have no doubt. Sometimes I feel inadequate to PREACH,
even to myself: but that does not negate the POWER in the preaching or the NAME under which
we preach! That only shows MY own weakness...not any weakness in our gospel or our doctrine.
People who are suicidal seem to hide their demons as well as any sinner, or better than many
who are only being tempted! But there are "signs" of their torment: notes or letters to themselves,
a slip of the tongue and laughing it off...("I wish I was dead..."; "I would rather die than sin
against the Lord..."; "I'm worth more dead than alive..."", etc.)
I try to direct those questions with a question of my own.
"Where is God's glory in that? What is easier: to die and NOT sin and maybe going to
hell, or to ask the Lord to forgive us and live for Him?"

Re: Is suicide a sin?
Involved in deliverance ministry for many years has shown me that suicide is an actual demon spirit that is more common in folks than any other demon spirit. Not saying every suicide is from a demon inside a person. But it's the most common spirit.

Amen, Beloved. I wouldn't try to add to that.
