well, you might think that that would be the major objection of the Sarvanim, as they are called; but it seems to be more often done in disagreement with Israeli policy. Interesting to note that Hasidic Jews do not serve--without penalty--and that Arab Israelis can enlist, if they wish!

I don't know if he is Jewish or not, which would also provide context here; but judging him is just dooming yourself, imo.

well, you have never been in an Israeli prison, wadr. He could have posed as Hasidic easily. Funny to me how those one might think would be the most committed soldiers get a pass? hmm

no, i keep meaning to, but when one goes to Israel, the Spirit is so strong that i, at least, get overwhelmed with Joy and forget to. But wadr that seems to me to be deflecting from the reality that a large and growing contingent of young Jews are rebelling now, and these are not rebellious people as a rule.
