i am soon going to PR--which i guess is still technically the states, sort of--to set up a sustainable living community. Actually a household, in this case.

well, 4 years of it in HS, straight A's, and still can't hold a convo lol--PR's speak their own kind of Spanish, anyway! But everyone speaks English now, pretty much.

You better brush up on your Spanish before heading to PR. It's part of America but they consider themselves to almost be their own country apart from America and they don't speak English all that well down there. This is what I am told.
