First Oneness Radio Preacher ???

Harry Morse was on the radio from 1925 until 1952. Not long after that, the Haney's of Stockton began a radio station that still operates today.

I think that Clyde Haney got the idea for beginning a radio station from his mentor, Harry Morse.

I disagree with this there have been a abundance of Oneness preachers on radio. Examples: Elders Johnson,Lawson,Bonner, Goodwin, Hunter, Golder, Scott, Ellis, Tyson, Godair, Daughtery, Hicks, Hobbs, Selby, Shelton, Harvestime, Perkins, Lyle, Burr, McDaniel, Poole, that is off the top of my head. And many local preachers have had broadcasts for decades.

I used to listen to Bishop Hunter early in my walk. I kind of liked his very serious manner. He was very strong about the headcovering. I also listened to Bishop Goodwin even called and talked him on the phone once. Also a good headcovering Preacher!

They both came up around S.C. Johnson didnt they? Remember the great battle between them over "in" and "of"?

As a boy I would listen to XERF at nights. About 11 The Whole Truth would come on the air. Also after Bishop Johnson died a group played his tapes out of DC.

I noticed alot of people listen to oneness preachers but would never join their church. Why is that?

Basically ever preacher that Epley named preached the exact same core gospel. There only differences they have are in the standard they uphold. That goes to show you how messed up the Apostolic churches are. That "in" and "of" might be the only different between Hunter and Goodwin churches. Crazy IMO

My late father was on the radio for years in the 50s and 60s. During that time he attracted the 'attention' of a UPC general sup. who really wanted him off the radio.
