The door is not TV. The door is our hearts and minds. If we aren't strong enough to advertise on TV without backsliding then we just aren't strong enough to begin with and something is wrong with us

Because I have heard it out of quite a few preachers mouth that "come GC it won't be an issue whether we have a tv". So the issue is that many feel this will be the stamp of approval on them having a tv in their home.

I don't think this one example is "proof" per se that using television works. However when you combine this, along with other churches who have used ads on television, it shows that it can be an effective tool.

Good grief....how many licensed ministers would be dumb enough to say that in ear shot of someone that would use it as ammunition like this? Can you actually number and name those preachers?
