I don't even know you. There is no way I would say or even think that. It's just that, in this thread, where there is beard discussion and you seem to take the conservative side of that, you quote a bunch of posts about scorners. How do you suppose that might come across to those of us with the other view?

Amen, sometimes people yelling with conviction can be confused with God annointed preaching.
If you listen to Micheal Savage, you will hear alot of yelling with conviction, but thats not the Holy Ghost talking...

Brother, this forum is full of intelligent men and women. If you dont come with scriptures in hand, this stuff will happen.
Many of our congregants these days in the churches are new converts and quite naive(easy to persuade). We are not them. When you present a doctrine, bring your Bible, not just your beliefs, and you will bode well. God Bless.

Next you will be telling us that breathing heavy into a hand held microphone is not "the annointing"!!!!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Thanks.
I guess when I pastor a church full of "new converts that are naive" I'll be informed. The one that I am pastoring is quite well taught and established in Apostolic doctrine.
Your unintelligent and under informed brother..
I may not be the brightest but I can tell when I'm being talked down to.

Anytime I have heard radio personality Alex Jones get excited about an issue, it sounds to me like he is preaching, lol... Not sure that raising your voice and getting excited can be perceived as the "anointing"... Just sayin....

Oh I'm sorry if I shouldn't be here. It's just that I read posts from what appeared to be people from other beliefs, so I just jumped right on in. I also saw some misconceptions posted about my beliefs as and thought it would be helpful here to explain stuff.
Should I leave? No hard feelings, just an apparent misunderstanding on my part.
