No scripture tells a lady not to preach

For ex., you have been shown over & over & over that the Greek verb translated "speak" in I Cor. 14.34 is equally translated as "preach" no less than six times elsewhere. And, "Stong's" defines the verb as both to speak or "PREACH" (remember this is your own source !). In fact, he mentions "preach" first thing out if the box! Then, I also have a Greek professor friend who used to tutor me along & he equally (a very-very ethical man) told me that this verb defines as "preach" - depending in context.

Y'all have been shown alllllllll of this over & over & over & over & over - only to completely ignore it & continue spewing out your false doctrines. Pitiful - You simply don't WANT to accept the biblical data on this issue so you seek any way possible to force the Bible to fit your personal "theology." It's called "Rebellion to God" !
Great answer rdp!

Sister Alvear, can you provide that scripture that tells them to PREACH?

And no scripture says that a woman CAN preach and oversee an assembly of the saints of God!

Many females are called to be Prophets today, and of course are given many other gifts of the Spirit to edify and build up the body of Christ, but they are not called to the office of Apostle, Pastor, Teacher, or Evangelist.

Contextually could you let me know who he was specifically addressing?

And by the way this thread would not have reached 212 pages if you were not fighting for a position in ministry.

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11

When Jesus said to Mary Magdalene, "'Go to My brethren and say to them, "I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God"'" (John 20:17), was He not affirming her as a witness of the gospel? Was He not commissioning her both to go and to speak for Him? Why then do we deny women the opportunity to carry this message?

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11

The prophet Joel predicted that one day the Holy Spirit would be poured out on the church and, as a result, our "'sons and daughters [would] prophesy'" (Joel 2:28, emphasis added). This passage clearly indicates that when the New Testament age began, both men and women would be empowered and commissioned to carry the message of the gospel to the world. God's Holy Spirit would no longer rest simply on isolated individuals as was the case under the old covenant.

In the Pentecostal age, all believers, regardless of gender, ethnicity or social status, would have full access to the graces of the Spirit and would speak the utte rances of God.

If preaching were to have been limited to men only, Joel would not have mentioned daughters in his prediction. He would have said instead, "In the last days, I will pour out My Spirit, and your sons will prophesy while your daughters serve quietly in the background and pray for the men." Copied

Women often witnessed the wonderful acts of God, just as the passage quoted in the thread title. However, witnessing and preaching is indeed distinguished in scripture. Witnessing is something the Holy Ghost empowers all believers to do, preaching has its qualifications even for the believer.
