Don't worry about it Sis. Alvear. Keep doing the work and will of God. There are many ignorant members of the he man women haters club. Some of them are card carrying. So glad to be UPCI where women are welcome in the pulpits. There are churches pastored now within our group that have men and women pastoring together. Now the wife isn't sitting on the pew and her husband only in the ministry with all the weird connotations that go with that sort of mindset.

Yes, willful "ignorance" certainly abounds in many orgs....Such as the one's that advocate "women-preachers" in the church !

Ok, i'm kind of surprised here--the Bible is full of parables, applicable then and now--but i can offer some other reflections that might have been more pertinent at some times than others; if women watering camels is not to your taste. understand that it will not make Scripture "untrue," just possibly inapplicable to the situation.

I assume you are asking about my comments concerning the saints of pastors that teach against women preachers.

Every "saint" on here is represented by a pastor somewhere. Unless the prerequisite for being on this forum is to not have a pastor. Most likely there are some who have a pastor that teaches against women preachers. Also, there will likely be someone in the future as well.

And no I would not recommend this forum to any saint.

On a personal note, while I have a pastor, him and I may not agree on everything. I have my own mind and what I speak here are my own thoughts and opinions.

I don't compare the beliefs of others to what my pastor believes because here, it doesn't even matter to me let alone to anyone else. If someone posts they believe eggs on Sunday are bad and those who don't agree should be rebaptized, I'm not going to be offended because my pastor eats eggs every Sunday, nor am I going to think he needs to be rebaptized because someone on this forum said so.

If people get what you are claiming Sis. Alvear says to be true, they probably shouldn't be on the internet or even on a discussion forum.

Please document the assertion of "women haters".

Since no one posting here "hates women" it is apparent that this is simply another stupid post based upon emotionalism rather than fact. The ignorance of those who continually make false allegations is astounding. Christians are supposed to stand for truth not make unsubstantiated false allegations. Yet that is what happens here routinely apparently.

I will continue to stand for truth regardless of the ad hominem attacks based solely upon the pregnant imagination of pseudo Christians who apparently know nothing of telling the truth.

I know this will never happen but could you document the assertion that RDP or anyone else here says women are "dirty"? How utterly ignorant. I know RDP personally and know him to be a fine Christian gentleman. Your FALSE characterization is shameful. I expected a missionaries wife to stand for truth not make false allegations. Truly a shame.

What is dirty/sinful is to disregard the Biblical text. This is RDP's point and the context. It should not surprise me. After all you have proven time and time again context means nothing...
