The Bible does not forbid women to "sing, testify, prophecy, speak out, teach SS, teach vacation Bible school, teach a song, make vocal sounds, etc, - but it does forbid them from "preaching" in the church to men. Could not be plainer.

In Acts 2:17 Peter echoed those same words. The Greek word for “prophesy,” is “propheteuo” which means, “to foretell events, to make known one’s thoughts, to speak under divine inspiration, use a prophetic office or inspired preaching!” The old men did not immediately dream dreams on the day of Pentecost but it was speaking of future happenings. So this was the same in the prophesying of sons and daughters. That was yet to come.
The word “prophecy” is a noteworthy noun that means, “inspired declaration of God’s will and purpose.” Prophecy in the verb tense means “to proclaim by inspiration the Word of God.” Both means preaching and declaring God’s Word with inspiration. Tracing this word a little further we learn that part of the word means “luminousness” or like shining a light. The prefix “pro” of the Greek word “propheteuo” means “in front of.”
We can apply this word’s meaning to one that is divinely inspired to speak in front of others as to shine light on the Scriptures. Women of God have the same responsibility as the men to shine light on the Scriptures, as the Lord should lead.

Here you once again simply speculate precisely what you fail to demonstrate. Where can we see a woman shedding light on the Scriptures to a congregation to men in the Bible:___________? Been asking you that for years now - still waiting for the passage where a woman "is divinely inspired to speak in front of others as to shine light on the Scriptures" - doesn't exist (neither is this the lexical definition of this Greek verb).
Respectfully (& I mean that very sincerely) - You have been caught making innumerable mistakes from the Greek language - & have just been caught again .

Now, how can I be a king or priest if I’m a woman? Perhaps it is the same way a man can be part of the bride of Christ.
It wasn’t until later that Tertullian a well-known Ante-Nicene Father of the Third Century said that no woman has the right to speak in the church, teach or baptize or anything that pertains to the function of a man or a place in the ministry. He started putting labels on what was deemed as a “manly function” or what a person’s place was in ministry. Perhaps this is what he needed to do because of the upcoming priest and nun separation groups of the Roman Catholic Church. We are no part of that heresy. Remember it was the so called church councils that took women from the pulpits...

Yet you quoted earlier from "Chrysotom," who was a "Trinitarian" & definitely a heretic (do you know what he believed??). Nothing like a little selectivity in our sources 'eh ?

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
Alrighty - Think I've done enough for now (had some time late tonight). Teaching almost every night for the rest of this week, but will try to look in to offer more as time allows (probably late at night).
As a Greek professor friend of mine told me this weekend, "Because they're such an emotional people (& understandably so), Pentecostal people usually decide what they want to believe in their hearts first, then look for something in the Bible they think supports that preconceived belief. Until that changes & they become honest, with absolutely no agenda other than biblical truth - you're wasting your time with them on certain biblical doctrines."
That is where I am at with this issue - Honestly, I am completely wasting my time & I do not have the time to waste. Though I could sit here all day & night refuting each "point," I will not continue this much longer (which I fully anticipate will fuel the fire), but if someone is truly sincere you can PM me & I'll respond to your honest queries when I do happen to log-on.
Just know, you will stand before God some day & give an account of your flagrant disobedience to His clear Word. I will also say that I respect Sister Alvear's sacrifices & realize that my own pale horribly in comparison to her's (though we have certainly sacrificed for mission work over the years). In fact, I have even given of my own money to help support the Alvear's at times - & would gladly do so again.
God Bless .

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
yes, I know what I believe...We are no part of the Catholic church....that is the reason I am a missionary to bring people out of pagan darkness into light...to bring people out of bondage and chains and rituals that take and never give...I happen to live in one of the largest Catholic countries of the world...and have studied their church councils and debated them with some of their clergy..
sorry...no time for this now...

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
AND likewise I could refute you all day but have more important things to do...and besides I don't mind giving my point of veiw to you but it is a waste of time for I will not change truth and the calling of God for what you think is truth...I respect you and have many friends that do not see the scriptures like I do however each one of us must work out our own salvaltion with fear and trembling...Many times I have asked HIM (God) why He called....don't think it has not been without tears and hurts...but I must go on and today my race is almost finished...All I care to her Him say is Mission Accomplished...I KNOW what it was like to stand under a shade tree barely speaking Portuguese 46 years ago and have NO ONE visible standing with me talking to some of the most dangerous robbers and prostitutes while my life was being threatened...and police begging me not to go to that place but God said to go...and to me HIS words and biddings have always been important. I started that work alone, slept on dirt floors, took my baths in a nearby stream (dirty stream at that) ...there was no electric lights or nothing like that...I know the fear of a young lady tallking to some of the vilest men that were in their drunken stages...I know what it is to take the glass of bear from their hand and led them to a little bench I made and sit with them and tell them about a God that changes all things...I know what it is to hold a little woman's hand that her husband was wanted by the police for killing 21 people and her tell me he will kill you too, missionary if I come under the tree and listen to you....back then I used old flannel graph and told the story of Jesus to adults that could neither read or write for the most part. Many of them would stand like little children amazed...some amused that a little foreign girl was in their village...To make a long story short...the witchdoctor ordered me out and told me he was killing a black chicken and when it died I would die...His big robust body towering on my little body (at that time..ha..) was no match in strength or human resourses however I looked him in the eys and siad, "Only if your god is more powerful than mine..." He walked away to do his job to kill me I walked away and invited one more under the shade tree...We would have our afternoon stories because of no light at night and at night whoever invited me I would go to their little humble abode and sleep if blessed on a cornshuck matteress...
Slowly I won some of these misplaced people. the derelicks, the beggars, the lonely men and women....a lot was provided for us and we made our own little bricks and without any experience built our first building.
Today many years later they have rebuilt the church or should I say added on 4 or 5 times...a wonderful pastor....sometime ago I walked in and the whole church stated singing, Thank you for giving to the Lord....
So as day ends I am glad that I gave...no regrets....

And by mentioning the Catholic church I have nothing against their precious people...I have friends that are Catholic...I am saying I do not agree with their teaching and in many ways I admire some things they do such as feeding the poor and working among some of earth's most primitive people...

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
If a woman wants to preach, it bothers me not one bit. If I want to fellowship with her, I will, if not that's my choice. So, preach if God called you and win souls.

Very true...we chose who we buddy up with...we can love everyone but we do not have to be best buddies with everyone...
