This may be off track for this thread, but I wanted to share something. when visiting a church (Apostolic-Oneness-UPC Independent) back in 2008, I was very sick and decided to go up and ask for prayer during alter call. When doing this, the *Pastor* asked the ladies to gather about me and pray. He laid hands on me and I felt Gods healing touch. After the service I was approached by one of the woman who had prayed for me.....she hugged me(in which I am not a hugger to people I do not know) so when I extended my hand...she snatched me to her, hugged me hard (roughly~ as she was about 6 ft-300 pounds compared to my 5 ft tall 100 pound body ) and with her bad (smelled of moth balls) breath , her missing teeth and haggard smile said ever so gently (but accompanied by a very evil vibe I picked up from her).......................*The reason you are sick is because you have sin in your life and this is Gods way of telling you to get the sin out or you will remain sick in your body*...... I really wanted to say you are a bloody idiot lady......but I didn't. It was sort of disturbing to the point we never went back while there in that town. I have nothing against ANY religion at all and I respect Gods people immensely but I loath fanatical people....and people as this lady...... she was pure evil but called herself Gods chosen~Apostolic!

In my experience, there are lots of people who react very wrongly in ministering. Ministering with wisdom is so important in the body and what you experience was someone who ministered without wisdom. I know your maturity as a Christian will simply dismiss the experience as an unpleasant one and will continue on your spiritual journey.

Hey everyone I would like to address Seekermans cultish home meetings,seems as if they do faith healing also and deny medical attention....He paints all Apostolics with a broad brush I can paint his home meetings with one also...

Do I paint all 'apostolics' with a broad brush? Do you have evidence for this or is that simply an accusation from frustration?

It would be alot better on you if when you refer to issues within the Apostolic movement that you put the word "Some" before the word Apostolic cause not all are the same
