My daddy's family is from North Carolina and most have settled in Florida now. I still say Y'sir and no mam so I guess you can say I had a 'southern upbringing' even though I was 'raised' in New England. Interesting combination I had for parents> North Carolianian Rebel for a Dad and a New England Yankee for a Mom. Have lived in Florida, Louisiana and Texas. California (for now).

Haha actually I'm thinking of going back there. The taxes out here have become outrageous. The unions have basically taken over the dem establishment. It's sad what has happened to this beautiful state.
